Yin Yoga

Stressed or relaxed? Experienced or unexperienced? Willing or unwilling?

You are welcome, just the way you are.

 

Yin yoga is a gentle and accessible type of yoga, inviting you to let go, relax and sink into the deeper layers of your body. We stay for about 3 to 5 minutes in the mainly sitting and lying poses, and allow a mild stress or compression to do the work, activating the self-healing capacity of the body: hydrating the fascia, lubricating the joints, stimulating the organs, strengthening the immune system and freeing blocked or stagnant energy.  

We practice to be in surrender and softness while we meet all the different sensations within the body. This strengthens the capacity to also stay in equal spirit while we meet emotions, thoughts and behavioral patterns. It becomes more natural to include the fullness of you and your body, and to welcome yourself, just the way you are.
